Here at ViA we are striving to bring Old School values back.
Part of this is a long established tradition of many vapers to "Pay It Forward" ( P.I.F) ...where the love and encouragement you received throughout your vaping journey is fed back into the community with acts of charity and generosity.
P.I.F's are simple
You just need to have some gear you are not using anymore ( and it can be vape or non-vape in nature) If you decide you are not worried about the monetary value of the item in question, and make a decision to gift the item to someone in the community, then this is the place to do it!
ANYONE can post a P.I.F. and ANYONE can put their hand up for it.
All we ask is that recipients show a bit of restraint and not jump on everything for themselves ... to this end the Gifter has a right of veto over the Giftee if they feel that person has over-utilised the feel good factor to the detriment of others ... we want to be fair about this ok?
P.I.F donors can certainly ask for postage costs so they are not out of pocket and in reality its really the right thing for recipients to at least offer it!
Reimbursement for Postal costs should be made via PayPal to ensure security and offer a layer of protection for the transaction... Insurance is up to the PIFer if they wish to arrange it, and the item should be tracked unless the item is of miniscule value... it just makes things easier for all concerned.
I am constantly amazed and warmed by this tradition and I hope it gets a wonderful new home at ViA to keep it alive and well in this increasingly greedy and selfish world
