In my original post I did type "mesh wicking", which is what I (incorrectly) assumed mesh RTAs to be using. While I am interested in hearing about mesh wicking, I'm equally interested in how mesh feeders work for you?
Perhaps I need to edit my original post now that I know what I'm asking (ETA: Just did that).
The Profile Unity uses a mesh 'coil' and would therefore still use cotton/rayon as a wick. The others here were referring to an actual wick made of rolled mesh inside a normal coil. And mesh feeders are shorter versions of a mesh wick (straws, if you will) which transport the juice from the tank below to the deck above.
