Just got this one last week because it was a; cheap, b; available locally AND cheap and c; realised I'd bought all my spare bits for my usual MTL tanks, but left the tanks themselves in a box that's at MIL's house...
Pretty impressed so far. Don't know what the longevity of the coils will be, but flavour seems to be as good as (or better) than anything else I've ever tried in the same class, draw ranges from 'light dart' to 'tight dart' and will not DL at all, unless you can suck start a leaf blower then maybe you could DL it.
Had it in my pocket for the last few days, no leaks, only a small gurgle this morning after a refill which cleared instantly, easy airflow adjustment and refilling and the coil slides out, not threaded into the tank. Currently running pretty thick (@60% VG) liquid and it's not hinting that flow isn't sufficient.
Just an option for those who prefer a very tight draw MTL tank that will handle whatever liquid you throw at it. Wondering if anyone else has one?
I'm guessing that the lack of replies means I'm special and am the only one (sucker?) who's got one.
After a week or so, it's a keeper methinks. Seems to do everything it's supposed to nicely as in putting out good flavour (for an MTL tank) and not chewing through coils like howitzer shells on 6-6-1944...
That said, coils aren't hard to find and a pack of 5 goes for $12 in an actual shop not far from home.
Danged impressed I am. Rebuilding doesn't seem to be feasible as yet as the back end seems to have a non-removable 'plug', if I can work out how to get that out, rebuilding might be possible but I'm kind of past bothering with that at this point. Just as easy to slip in a fresh coil for $2 which means rebuilding needs to take less than 5 minutes, which it won't. Cash is cheaper than time!
If you're looking for a new MTL tank that just works and doesn't cost much in time or effort to keep running, I'd have to put this one up as worth a look.
