Hey all. I was lucky enough to get a little cash gift for fathers day to waste on myself. I am a squonker, have plenty of mods/rda's and besides the Topside and the Pulse X RDA there isn't anything new coming up in the squonk world that I have to have. So my thoughts have turned to perhaps a tube mech.
Never had one before and not sure if it will be of much use to me noting I am content with my squonkers. That being said, I have tried everything else so I am curious. I do have the Pulse and Luxotic 'mech' and have considered getting the Furyan instead but not convinced it would be anything 'wow'. I have no concerns with my ohms law understandings so that is not an issue.
So just wanted others thoughts on their likes/dislikes for tubes and any rec's for a first. As to hardware, I would not go high end first up just in case. Checked around and plenty of reviews, probably look at the Tauren, VGod Pro 2 or Sebome as they are not too exxy and decent reviews. Not sure yet what RDA I would get or throw on top, perhaps just use my Bonza which currently is not used on my squonks.

Not familiar with any of those mods. But there is something special about a mech tube. Much like epipes, they are just special

Cheers DogMan, I suspected it was a personal preference thing with mech tubes. A rabbit hole I’m not sure will be good for my wallet, a bit like my squonking journey! |

Look at something 21700 or 20700 for better battery life etc. Look at Mooch's youtube channel on 'minding your mAhs' , there's a few on the broadside and voltage drop.
Is there anything you want specifically from a tube mech?

gurishka , that was my intention. The THC Tauren takes all comers. If I were to get one, would also try get a Samsung 30T 21700. I currently use ijoy and effest 20700's and have plenty of Sony VTC 5A, which is all I buy. As to what I would want, smallish and hard hitting. As to reason, none in particular besides, curiosity, boredom and too much time at home reading/watching reviews while on long service leave looking after my twinnies. I know a lot of reviewers use tube mods, so it just caught my curiosity. Will only be used at home, mainly to play around with and to use to test my DIY juices. Return to work in 2 weeks so perhaps this boredom/curiosity will pass, I will satisfy myself with my current squonks, and save my money for the next and greatest squonk that does not cost more than a small European country. That or DogMan ,will finally sell me his little SVA at a huge discount...

Cheers Nica, nope didn't miss it. As I mentioned in my OP the Topside is something I am certainly interested in. Same with the Pulse X RDA. Already have the Pulse 80W but I like the idea of that RDA where the juice squonks down directly onto your coils/wicks rather than up. To me that is as close to dripping as you can get. Fortunately I don't 'have to have' any of the above. I am set for the next 10 years. But when has 'have to have' been a sound and valid determination for vaping purchases? Now scrub your mouth out for suggesting such nonsense. |

Not a drama Nica, I am still waiting for proper reviews on it. My only concerns is the size/length, I like my mods small. And of course the durability of the funky design/placement for the squonk bottle. |

Anyone who likes mech tubes let me know, I have a Limitless mech tube that has never been used because the fire button is on the bottom I cannot use it so I am happy to give it away to whoever wants it. Send me a message and I will show you some pics
