About half the holds up, so far. Will leave it at that for a while, and see how I need to adjust it for my 10 year old. Even just with mostly jugs (big, positive holds), there are still some very testy moves to crank, for a broken down old bumbly like me.
Well done Rocky that looks really good. How do you work out where all the hand & foot thingys go?
I'll take some close ups at some stage, but the plywood sheets are pre drilled in a grid, then T-nuts are hammered in from behind, meaning holds can be adjusted to whim. I set a foot nubbin, and a couple of starting holds, then launch into whatever move I want to work on. Wherever I reach to is where I put my next hold. Repeat ad infinitum.
I have done a bit of route setting at my local wall, so I have a fair idea of what I'm after. I can lay out my holds, feel them a bit, while striking a ridiculous pose in space, and just toss them up. Micro/macro adjustments will occur regardless.
