For a very long while now I've been looking at this companies range of flavours. They specialise in tobacco flavours with hints of something else. Ive watched and read numerous reviews all saying just about the same thing being how good they taste.
I have been in two different minds many times as they're not NETS and many opinions have been that although the flavours are tobacco based they're not in your face tobacco tasting.
I love tobaccos and I also love NETS so the obvious dilemma is there. The thing is I kept returning to see if they had anything new and just to look again. They are not the cheapest and as the company is UK based postage has to be considered too.
After the questions I raised about Vapetrain Australia and due to the fact my wife was going to the UK for family reasons I thought bugger it I've an opportunity to get free postage and money which was going to go to Vapetrain so now is my chance to finally try them. I emailed the company and the delivery was sent to her Grandmothers house and brought back today when I picked her up from the airport.
I ordered 13 seperate flavours which included 30 ml of their famous Powwow Sauce. All the rest are 10ml bottles and due to the TPD laws the 30ml has to be sold in 3 X 10ml bottles.
I eagerly opened up the package today to find everything as ordered apart from the Powwow Sauce which was only 1X 10ml bottle. Needless to say I was a little peeved thinking there's no way they're going to believe me but decided to email them anyway.
Within 10 minutes I had a reply admitting the mistake, telling me to keep the 10ml and that 30ml would be sent over with some other 'bits' as an apology. I replied saying that I honestly don't expect to receive anything that I didn't originally pay for and that I'd be more than happy if I received the 20ml that I was missing from the order.
At the end of the day mistakes are easy to make and postage isn't cheap.
I haven't tried any of the juices yet but I'm certainly giving Manabush a massive tick for their customer service and if the juice is half as good I'll be very happy.
I for one think that service is important and although a mistake was made its been addressed in a very timely and generous way.
Ive got nothing to gain from posting this but would ask for understanding if it appears like I'm plugging the company.
This is simply the truth.

That sounds like superb customer service mate. Kudos to them for owning the mistake, and looking to make amends.
I guess the only real question that remains, is... How do their juices taste?

That sounds like superb customer service mate. Kudos to them for owning the mistake, and looking to make amends. I guess the only real question that remains, is... How do their juices taste? I'll be starting my taste test soon in a True MTL RTA and I'll let you know. I just didn't expect that response. The best I was hoping for was some sort of admission and the offer of posting the remaining 20ml but with me picking up the postage. To my way of thinking even if the juice isn't what I was hoping for the customer service would make me think about ordering again as long as it's at least above average. Im not going to start tearing strips off the previously mentioned company who would have had the money under different circumstances as there's no point. However, I will just say they still haven't replied to an email I sent before I even ordered from Manabush and if they wasn't trying to rip people off in the first place I wouldn't have even placed the order. Chalk and cheese springs to mind. Edit... I just read through my post and thought I should address the strip tearing point. I believe that I did tear a strip off them but am leaving it in as again it is,in my opinion, the truth.

Manabush came through and were good to their word. Today I received 30ml of Powwow juice and 3 x10ml of their firewater range therefore I'm in front by 40ml of juice. No postage costs either. Absolutely top notch customer service in my opinion.
I've tried Powwow and Mojave Desert which whilst being nice don't unfortunately match my expectations....to date anyway. I knew they were only supposed to have hints of tobacco but I get no hints at all. Possibly totally unfair as that's, from what I can tell, why they appear popular and I am a tobacco gluten.
I was sampling them in the True tank which was not a fantastic experience due to the leaking issue so therefore I decided to approach them again later just in case my opinions were a tad blurred due to the added frustration.
Probably totally unnecessary but I'm a weirdo.

Seeing as how this has been a year ( where has that time gone?) since I started this I think it's high time I state my opinions on what I received.
In my preamble I need to state that I knew these weren't supposed to be straight up tobacco tasting juices so I have kept that in mind throughout my testing. Unfortunately I honestly don't believe I tasted any tobacco which was a disappointment as I did expect a base taste of tobacco with various other flavours depending on the juice. I will also add that as I stated above Manabush reacted to a mistake they made above and beyond what I believe they needed to so they definitely score full marks for customer service.
The Nokomis range.
1/ Nokomis- As I understand it this is the base juice for the whole range and I expected it to have the strongest taste of tobacco, as I recognise that taste anyway. I have no real description other than I didn't taste tobacco but I happily finished it as it was enjoyable enough. I honestly cannot say what it tastes of though. 2/Chiricahua- This one I didn't enjoy and ended up mixing it. It's supposed to have a tobacco base with a sweet nutty topping. I got none of that with some sort of dirty fizzy taste. This one was about the worst for me. 3/ Powwow- This is the one that alerted me to the Manabush name and it sounded delicious going from the numerous reviews I read. Described as a sweet blend dark and light tobacco with biscuit sweetness and a 'familiar' desert. Again to me no discernible tobacco but I did taste a sweetness and I suspect the 'familiar' desert is custard. It is certainly enjoyable and I can see why its popular but I still found the taste didn't match my expectations. 4/ Nanabozjo- Described as a richly sweet deep tobacco with a subtle desert flavoured topping with added banana. No tobacco but I do taste the banana. This one is definitely not for me as I found it quite sickly. All I really tasted was the banana with something else which I didn't like. Again mixed with others. 5/ Coyote Coconut- I'll simply describe this as ditto to above but with the taste being coconut instead of banana. 6/ Ixcacao- Described as the same blend of tobaccos with a dark chocolate overlay. This one was one of the better ones and I did enjoy it. I definitely tasted the chocolate with presumably the Nokomis base but it worked in my opinion. 7/Omusa- Described as Manabush tobacco base with rum, toffee and vanilla topping. I enjoyed this one too and could taste the toffee but it's one of those juices that although I enjoyed it I wouldn't bother again. 8/ Mojave Dessert- Described as a mild tobacco with a fruity topping. It also states that it's a departure from the rest of the range and that departure was welcomed in my opinion. This one was my favourite out of all so far although I still did not taste tobacco. I believe I tasted a kind of ginger or something similar which I enjoyed although I don't like ginger! Weird I know but I think it had a hint of sweetness too. Whatever it was I enjoyed it but needless to say I wouldn't go to all the hassle and expense of ordering from the UK just for this.
I did have others from Manabush from different ranges which I'll post about later but thought it best to leave this range seperate.
I do feel almost guilty for posting such negative comments considering how excellent their customer service was but these are my honest opinions. Perhaps mine got tainted somehow during the journey or its simply that I don't agree with all the hype surrounding them. Taste is subjective.

Continuing on;
The Firewater range; These don't have the outlandish names of the Nokomis range and are simply named 1-6. I actually bought these as an afterthought and was in two minds whether to do so as I don't normally like synthetic cigar flavours thinking they taste like plain corn chips but I'm glad I did as I enjoyed these more than the Nokomis range.
1/ Firewater number 1- This one is the base for the range and is described as a blend of premium cigar tobacco flavours with the smoothest straight bourbon. As with the Nokomis range I can believe this is the base as all the ones I tried have this flavour in them. Luckily these do have that corn chip flavour but it does seem to be complimented by something else which I presume is the sweet bourbon. This one is certainly vapeable and enjoyable but as with all synthetic cigar flavours that I've tried it doesn't remind me of any cigar that I ever smoked. But as I say I enjoyed it so I'm not complaining, basically a decent vape but tobacco it isn't. 2/Firewater number 4- Described as being inspired by Chiricahua which meant I tried this one last considering what I thought of the original. I'm happy to say it was much better having the base of number 1 but with a sweeter tinge of peanut or something similar which I found quite nice and far superior. 3/ Firewater number 5- Described as having the same base but blended with an apple cider and cinnamon. And that's exactly what I tasted and I actually enjoyed this one very much with it definitely being my pick from this range. If this was easily available I would buy it again. 4/ Firewater number 6- Described as being a take on Kentucky Mule, whatever that is. I'm presuming it's a type of bourbon. I didn't pick this one as it does state in the description that it's overplayed with a dry ginger ale which I didn't think I'd like but I did. I originally ordered 1,4 and 5 but they sent me a pack of 3 juices being 4,5 and 6 free of charge as an apology and again I'm glad they did as I surprised myself and enjoyed this even though I could definitely taste the ginger but it worked very well with the base.
As is obvious I didn't order the full range as number 2 has cola and lime in it and number 3 amaretto and red fruits which I didn't think I'd like, particularly the cola and lime. I saying that I wouldn't have tasted number 6 either and enjoyed it so perhaps I would have done. As I type this I honestly cannot think that cola and lime would work!
So all in all this range was much better in my opinion but I'm not going to bother again as quite honestly there's better available in Australia and without blowing anything up my own posterior I've mixed better.
I have a couple of stragglers to add on but I'll post my opinions on them separately.

And in conclusion:
A couple from their Indigene range and is a collaboration between Manabush and The Druids Brew.
1/ Tamahaac- As seems to be the theme with Manabush described as the core base of the range which is a blend of tobaccos sweetened with fig. This one also has Kentucky style tobacco and extra fig... supposedly. Unfortunately again I just don't taste tobacco but some sort of sweetness that I can't describe. Not offensive and vapeable but far removed from tobacco in my opinion.
2/ Paraxu- The base with as described a seductive blend of Turkish tobacco and a Fox grape. Another inoffensive but disappointing flavour. All I taste is some sort of herb and fruit. No idea what ones and as is obvious I don't really care by now,but again tobacco it ain't.
So I've reached the end and offered my very basic but honest opinions on what I ordered and received.
I'll leave it there as I don't think I need to add anything else.
