Their web site still isn't up and running, so, as far as I know, The Regency Vapour Lounge is still only on facebook. So, for those not of fb, if you want to visit Sydney's newest vape shop, this Saturday, 17 Feb 2018, might be a good day to do it   The 'cracking of the vault' means there are limited numbers available. If you want to buy one of these, you enter a draw. If your name is one of those drawn out at 1pm, you can buy. |

I'm not a fan of the 75c. Their changes over 75 including addition of a firing delay for some reason. I think they justify it as battery saving

I won't buy another 75c unless they fix that in firmware - it's that bad. Also, I just plain prefer the simplicity of the older mono boards - and I can work them one handed without needing to look at the screen. I'm a bit cut I couldn't go due to work... grrrrr... I would have passed on the 75c, but I probably would have taken a shot at picking up the mech if they were nice in person. So does this place usually do high end squonkers? Because I need more of that in my life . |

So does this place usually do high end squonkers? Because I need more of that in my life  . I managed to avoid putting my name down on the draw for the Punto Zero. I did fondle it (multiple times) - very cute with a surprisingly nice button. They also had a few Hakus for sale to people who didn't already own one (Steven Hasani, the creator of the Haku, is behind the Regency Vapour Lounge). Their fb page says "Our primary focus is high quality Vapour products for long term vapers" and "In order to cater to the growing quality demands of Australian vapers, we have been working very hard to source some of the industry's finest and most sought after items, many of which can only be found on waiting lists and exclusive groups." The latter is, I think, the rationale behind the 'cracking of the vault' days - access in Australia to some of those closed/secret fb group items. There is another 'Vault' event coming up. They've mentioned they're sourcing Limelight squonkers, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what is in the vault - but I have no real idea and that is purely a guess. Even if you can't get to a vault day, it's worth a visit just for a chat. They're currently open 8am-8pm on weekdays, 10am-4pm weekends. My primary focus in going on Saturday was to see how they did a bbq in what is a very small shop front  (they used a bench-top thingy and Shawn produced truly excellent bacon and egg rolls). I combined it with a visit to the Steamers Beaconsfield store, which I haven't been to for a very long time. Two very different experiences: The Steamery in Beaconsfield is large, modern, well established, while the Regency is small, cosy and olde world, and still finding its feet. I had a very pleasant chat at both places |

Looks like you can get caps and rings for the haku. Looks like the haku is available over the counter for only $140. Mind you the phenom is out of stock.

Piping hot egg and bacon roll with bbq sauce freshly cooked by Shawn. Absolutely delicious. Not quite as up market as the grand opening night, which involved sushi (complete with waitress and the chef himself from Japone Sushi) and scotch (bubbly for me). But just as delicious, really. For those who didn't make it to that opening night and first vault event: |
