As the title suggests, I phoned a US vendor with some questions about their large price for postage to Oz and any discount codes to make it more worth the effort. Which it can be, by my reckonings.
I managed to nut out the time difference and ring at a reasonable US time, when I got through it went straight to their voicemail thingy with 'option 1' being stated as follows. "If you are a solicitor, hang up NOW! Otherwise, leave us a message and we will return your call." Alarm bells ringing loud and clear! Unless I misinterpreted something through the language barrier.
I can't go anywhere without my mobile now because they will definitely ring me back!

The high cost of shipping from the US is nothing new, it's been like that for decades. The cost of shipping from the US could easily double the cost of your purchase - For smaller US companies, the USPS is almost as expensive as UPS or any of the other freight companies with the extra sting that the most reasonable USPS service can take weeks and has no tracking. USPS used to really hate sending anything at all overseas apparently.
These days the shipping times for USPS first class air are *way* better than they used to be so it's a viable option. The price is still stupid however... The exception is that now some of the vape companies have got so large they have partner agreements with USPS - this seems to get them significant reductions in shipping cost making it more worthwhile.
So shipping from the states is what it is - they can only pass on what they are handed and there's nothing they can do about it until they get big enough to justify their own zip code (joke).
The joke thing about solicitors is interesting. I can only think that with the political situation vaping is in over there, solicitors are cold calling them all to try and sign them up... Apart from that it's much easier to do business with the US by email.

I had some good advice that it may in fact mean telemarketers, as in 'solicitors'. 2 countries separated by a common language.

They call them attorneys (short version of attorney-at-law), lawyers, and councelors (councelor-at-law). "Solicitor" may be a purely Brit/commonwealth thing.

Well here's a surprise, no return call. I'm going to bite the bullet and order some of their NET extracts anyway, they read so jolly good. I worked out that a freight forwarder will make it a little more palatable dollars wise, so that's the way to go. I'm going in!

The reason I ask is I bought some juices from Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco,LLC and dealt with a bloke called Clay. The only concentrate I bought was Bombay and to be honest haven't even tried it yet. In regards to the juices they were decent enough but I wouldn't bother again. I don't know if I made a mistake as I ordered extra shot, obviously being extra strong, and found them all to have a strange underlying taste which I can't explain. Diluting them down a bit did help but it was still there. As ever though taste is subjective and I hope yours turn out to be worth the effort.

That's the one gasman. Thanks for the info, I'm glad I haven't yet pulled the trigger on this. I need to think on it some more. Expensive experiment that it is.

Was your O/S jaunt the juice or the extracts Gasman? Sorry for the delay but I had to go to do a bit of work to pay for all this juice!!! I was actually going to America with the Mrs and hatched a cunning plan. Well not that cunning really. I arranged for the juice to be delivered to the hotel I was staying in so it was waiting for me upon my arrival. It was indeed there when I arrived therefore I utalised free USPS shipping and acted as a mule bringing it back to Australia. As I didn't end up watching myself on border security it all went to plan and it also made it home with me. I bought one of their cigarette sampler packs of liquids being Big Spirit,Organic Spirit and Speaking Spirit. I also bought one of their cigar sampler packs of liquids being 3-Crown,7th Cut and yesteryear. As mentioned the only concentrate I bought was Bombay which I still haven't tried. Clay was a very professional and helpful bloke to deal with and I encountered no problems. I also bought Gold,Chris Blend and Bombay but unfortunately can't remember what they were described as. Clay very kindly gave me 3x5ml freebies being NS Dark,The Ruins and The Minister which again I can't remember what they were described as. The best for me was NS Dark with the others being acceptable on different levels but not up to HOL for example. All were vaped but personally I wouldn't go back for any more. I know I ordered extra extract and believe from memory they were all heat extracted, there was a heap of different options. Unfortunately that's about all I can tell you apart from don't let my opinions put you off as obviously yours could be completely different. However I will add that if you decide to go ahead my advice would be not to go for the extra shot. I enjoy my juice strong but think that choice could have been a mistake due to the fact that once I added PG or Bite Xtra (from FA) the juices tasted much better. As a side note I feel a bit guilty saying this as Clay was so accommodating but honesty is what this is all about.
